Project Description
Greve Wireless Council Staff Safety
ID card holders with built-in panic button in the Greve Municipality
Greve municipality’s reception employees often encounter impatient or frustrated citizens. At times, a regular inquiry can rapidly develop into a threatening episode. In these situations the staff members obviously have to rely on the possibility to alert each other discreetly. Furthermore, it is often impossible to call for assistance by phone or radio. Council stuff safety was was problematic as the employees felt overall insecure.

Personal Council Staff Safety System
Greve municipality employees clearly always carry an ID card. Most importantly, there is a discreet panic button is on the back, which employees can press to call for assistance.
System positions ID cardholder indoors, so the response team receives not only the alarm itself. In addition they receive precise information about where their assistance is necessary.
For home visits however, the same ID cardholder connects directly to the staff’s SmartPhone.
If an alarm is triggered, alarms go immediately to colleagues and/or the security office, who, on their turn, can at the same time take the next steps to respond as necessary.
